If you rub, massage, or apply pressure too soon after injection, Botox may spread to other parts of the face. Consequently, the cosmetic results may be unfavorable. It is recommended that patients sleep on their backs with their heads slightly elevated after receiving Botox injections.

Botox injections require time to fully settle into your muscles, so sleeping on your back is vital. Laying on your face may cause the injections not to settle properly, and you may not achieve the results you are looking for.

The aftercare instructions for Botox will be discussed with you during your initial consultation. Dr. Lanna Aesthetics' team of specialists can answer any questions you may have about Botox.
